Visual aspect: pellucid and luminous, it has a deep colour, with dark-purple tinges. Nose: expressive and delicate, revealing scents of small black fruit, spices, as well as hints of humus, undergrowth and stone fruit. Palate: unctuous and rich, with tannins that are still reserved, and a touch of cinammon. The finish is rich and marked by fresh, crisp tannins. Match with food: roasted wild boar with pan-fried cress. Comment: a full-bodied, fleshy wine it can be enjoyed now or aged for a few more years.
