Visual aspect: crimson verging towards a deep ruby-red colour.
Nose: delicate on balsamic hints that are developing at present, as well as candied red fruit.
Palate: pure on the first taste, tightly-knit tannin of great quality. Marvellous structure and well balanced. Very long on the palate.
Match with food: hare à la royale.
Comments: a fine Margaux! Tremendous distinction and elegance.
