Visual aspect: a translucent, vivid crimson hue. Nose: aromas of red and black fruit, peppery hints and a floral touch. Excellent, vanilla-scented complexity. Marvellous freshness. Palate: pure first taste, it is rich and round with elegant woodiness. Plenty of fullness, pleasantly melted, round tannin, with smoky, toasted flavours. Match with food: calf's sweetbread with wild mushrooms. Comments: one of our favourites. A wine with excellent potential for the future.
