Visual aspect: dark ruby-red colour, almost brown tinges. Nose: aromatic and warm, with notes of candied red fruits, kirsch. Palate: warm, with very ripe red and black fruits reminding its vintage. Quite alcoholic mid-palate but remarkable. Superb aftertaste. Match with food: a rib steak with ceps. Comments: a superb cuvée.
