Visual aspect: a magnificent garnet-red hue, with gleaming tints. Nose: complex, very aromatic, concentrated and very delicate with scents of leather, blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice and a touch of peony, Palate: fleshy, full-bodied and rich on flavours of spices, green pepper, liquorice, and peony, it is stylish with excellent balance. Match with food: rolled fillet of venison accompanied by purée with truffles. Comments: an excellent wine, marvellous characteristic features. Great promise for the future.
