Visual aspect: clear, bright with lovely density, it has a dark garnet-red colour.
Nose: scents of macerated black fruit and wonderful persistency of these aromas.
Palate: distinct, although still young tannins; lots of body in alcohol.
Match with food: poultry; duck with cabbage.
Comments: marvellous expression for this Cahors.
