Visual aspect: a ruby-red colour already showing slightly tile-red tinges; it is lucent, radiant and fluid.
Nose: aromas of macerated black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant) and some fairly developed gamey hints.
Palate: the tannins are gaining good balance. Distinct presence of alcohol and rusticity, characteristic of Saint-Estèphe.
Match with food: grilled red meat or even game birds.
Comments: a very pleasant wine.
