Visual aspect: very deep garnet-red hue, tile-red tinges, colourful tears. Nose: tangy, jammy Mara des Bois strawberry, crushed raspberry. Thyme, spice, garigue, opens up little by little. A hint of minerality. Palate: ample, fleshy, melted tannins, still present. Pleasant, tangy. Long fruity persistency. Match with food: duck with black olives; preserved shoulder of lamb with thyme. Comments: really lovely silky wine, a beautiful work combining structure and finesse.
