Visual aspect: a garnet-red hue with crimson tints.
Nose: powerful and clean, with scents of blackberry, scrubland and dried thyme, liquorice and leather hints appear after swirling. It seems creamy and exudes a toasted aroma from the maturation wood.
Palate: the first taste is full-bodied, round, with styled, rich sweetness, development is marked by deluxe maturation. Spicy hints complete the aromas and are confirmed on the palate. This wine is concentrated and creamy. The finish reveals a taste of cocoa bean.
Match with food: shoulder of lamb slowly oven-roasted in the “7 hour” way, stuck with aromatic herbs and served with bulgur rubbed with sweet spices.
Comments: a marvellous wine.
