Visual aspect: intense garnet-red colour, deep. Purple fringe. Numerous tears. Nose: intense first nose marked by woody notes, grilled and spicy. Second nose on red fruits which develops, accompanied with vanilla. Palate: vivid first taste, evolution on warm tannins. Numerous aromatic notes, Zan sweet, liquorice, red fruits, the whole enhanced by a woody background, with vanilla and moccha. Match with food: bull steak, thyme-flavoured ratatouille. Comments: to decant.
