Visual aspect: a garnet-red hue with bright red tints.
Nose: open and powerful on scents of plum, cherry and scrubland. Creamy with a touch of Kirsch.
Palate: full-bodied and smooth, satiny texture. Freshness well-balanced between spiciness and generosity. Delicacy, enveloped tannin and a short finish on a flavour of Marasca cherry liqueur.
Match with food: saddle of hare and Vitelotte potato purée with herbs.
Comments: a lovely wine in an excellent vintage, produced by a remarkable cellar.
