Visual aspect: a beautiful, vivid, deep ruby colour. The tears are long and delicate.
Nose: delicate, supple and fine, it reveals interesting hints of curry and leather intensified by liquorice and raspberry.
Palate: a velvety smooth texture and tightly-knit substance marked by extremely mature tannins. The finish is long and smooth.
Match with food: topside of venison served with small vegetables.
Comment: a wine that should be left to age for a few more years, to enable it to become absolutely remarkable.
