Visual aspect: strong garnet-red colour. Nose: pure, fine, very aromatic nose, scents of blackberry. Palate: excellent breadth, supple. Aromas of fig, flower, a hint of animal flavours. Nobles tannins, exceptional length. Match with food: Chateaubriand with ceps. Comments: still a warm youth. A great wine which will express its best at is peak. Deserves decanting.
