Visual aspect: a lovely, deep and vivid golden-yellow colour.
Nose: unusual for white wines from the Côte des Blancs, with rather developed scents of bitter almond and brioche.
Palate: well balanced first taste, absolutely delicate and airy, with distinct hints of roasting.
Match with food: for an amusing aperitif, serve with cubes of 18-month old Comté cheese.
Comment: a very typical Côtes des Blancs wine. The finish slightly lacks length.
