Visual aspect: its black hue makes it almost opaque.
Nose: it exudes fragrances of small black fruit (bilberry, very ripe black cherry). The nose is quite discreet at present, but promising.
Palate: it has full-body enveloped in sweet flavours (toasted, roasted hints) of young tannins that need to be aged further in the bottle. The finish gives a hint of new leather.
Match with food: pan-fried foie gras coated with crumbled gingerbread.
Comments: a marvellous wine that deserves to age more so that it can express the full potential of its terroir.
