Visual aspect: dark colour. Nose: nice fine nose, with candied black fruits, blackcurrant compote. Palate: first taste with flavours of black fruit compote, elegant woodiness. Present tannins but melted enough to be enjoyed now. Very long on the palate. Match with food: beef fillet en croute, souffléed potatoes; duck fillet a la plancha, and pan-fried mushrooms. Comments: n harmonious wine.
