Visual aspect: garnet, tobacco hues. Nose: dense, ripe fruit, plums. Palate: pleasant, attack on the balance of the wine, nicely structured, educated tannins. Match with food: meat with sauce, gently cooked lamb or veal. Comments: very quaffable.
