Visual aspect: marvellous intensity, crimson hue, garnet-red tinges and disk. Brilliant. Nose: delicate with lack and red fruit aromas, very flowery with a hint of spices, pepper and aniseed. The final note is purely attractive. Palate: fresh first taste, very silky tannins, pleasant mid-palate. All the aromas of the nose open up in the mouth. Elegant finish. Match with food: piece of beef in the Bordeaux-style. Comments: this is a beautiful alluring Côte-Rôtie.
