Visual aspect: garnet-red-colour clean, quite deep, brilliant. Pink fringe, some tears. Nose: jammy red fruits, compote, black berries, blackberry, roasted. Palate: unctuous, ripe, supple. The tannins are present, silky. Fruity and very pleasant aftertaste. Match with food: rib steak on vine shoot; chocolate with Morello cherry compote. Comments: a wine for the end of the meal.
