Visual aspect: coppery. Nose: complex on aromas of rancio, woodiness, leather, iris. Palate: unctuous, well-balanced, woody, vanilla-scented. Wonderful finish on rancio, mild spice. Beautiful expression of the terroir of Grande Champagne. Gourmet pairings: after dinner with strong dark chocolate. Comments: an excellent Cognac.
