Intense second nose which expresses fruitiness, undergrowth, slightly woody notes. Beautiful complexity. Palate: character, with a good fine tannins. Aromatic expression, black fruits, Morello cherry. Good length in the finish. Match with food: venison stew ; grilled prime rib of beef with Malbec grapes accompanied with a mix of crisp spring vegetables. Comments: an authentic Cahors.
