Visual aspect: a vivid ruby hue with purple ink-coloured and then purple tinges it gleams and has excellent concentration. Nose: marvellously powerful on a very delicate and well balanced aromatic texture of small black fruit and flowers, as well as a touch of liquorice combining hints of maturation. Palate: round and smooth on the first taste, it reveals fruity, acidulated flavours well balanced between the maturity of its substance and the freshness of its structure. The tannins are silky and delicate. The finish has good length. Match with food: poultry fried with preserved garlic cloves. Comment: a wine of remarkable delicacy, measured powerfulness and quite charming aromatic texture.
