Visual aspect: a grenadine-red hue. Nose: firm, powerful. Some aromas of Kir royal, small wild fruits, black cherry stones and blackcurrant leaves. Some smoky hints on the finish. Palate: powerful, good structure and excellent flavours on retro-olfaction. The finish reveals a touch of fruit stone, it is powerful and expressive. Match with food: oriental cuisine, tournedos steak with cranberry sauce. Comments: superb balance for this well made champagne.
