Visual aspect: fine garnet-coloured, sustained, brilliant. Nose: black fruit, wild blackberry, liquorice, powerful and expressive nose. Palate: full-bodied, fruity, with zan liquorice dominant, blackberry, elderberry, supple tannins, a wine with a good length. Match with food: roast guinea fowl with mushrooms. Comments: requires decanting and at least one hour of aeration before tasting.
