Visual aspect: a dark ruby colour with beautifully gleaming bluish tints.
Nose: superb, expressive on aromas of very ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), on a backdrop of discreet woodiness.
Palate: supple and smooth, with fleshy, relatively delicate substance on a structure of firm, promising tannins. The finish is exceptionally long.
Comment: a magnificent wine, a superb achievement combining purity, produced by an eminent winegrower.
