Present worldwide, Tonnellerie Cadus has built a recognized expertise thanks to the know-how of its team of 40 employees (including 24 artisan coopers), as well as its two historical partners: Canadell, the main buyer from the National Forest Office (ONF), and the prestigious Maison Louis Jadot in Beaune.
Cadus has just launched a new 100% local barrel, with each component sourced from within a 130 km radius. As Benjamin le Berre, CEO of Tonnellerie Cadus since January 2024, explains, “Our activity takes into account the entire value chain and its ecological impact. This new model allows us to support the local economy and provide a solution to reduce its carbon footprint”.
Since 1996, Tonnellerie Cadus has built a strong export network. “We are constantly developing new connections with major producing countries”, notes Jean-Stéphane Cantero, Bordeaux export sales director. “Cadus barrels are distributed in over 22 countries, with an office in the United States and a sales team on-site”.
Meet Tonnellerie Cadus at VINITECH Bordeaux, from November 26 to 28.
