Palate: smooth attack, full and rich on ripe black fruits, oak, and spices. Noble tannins bring great length. Savoury and refined finish. Pairing: squab; venison fillet with chanterelle mushrooms. Comment: a very fine wine, charming, rounded, and elegant, offering smoothness and balance. Can be cellared for up to 10 years.
