Color: intense garnet with bright highlights. Nose: clean, with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and floral notes (jasmine). A medley of spices (clove, black pepper). Palate: generous and direct on the attack, yet indulgent. Reflects the aromas on the nose. Long, beautiful finish. Pairing: rib-eye steak with porcini mushrooms. Comment: a promising wine, best revisited in a few years to appreciate its evolution.
