Color: clear and star bright with a quite intense golden color, light greenish reflections and oily legs. Nose: very fine nose showing broad complexity, notes of green peach and greengage plums, exotic notes of green papaya combined with savory herbs like oregano and bay leaf. Aeration shows attractive aromatics of honey, beeswax, hint of hazelnut, delicate scents of sweet spices (vanilla), mineral presence of wet stone and chalk. Palate: very good weight and substance with a bracing acidity which is very precise and mouthwatering wrapped in an oily texture providing sufficient flesh. The midpalate is quite generous and rounded with fresh ripe green orchard fruits and green plums, fine creaminess of beeswax, fresh hazelnut and savory character of salty wild herbs and wet stone. Complex and long. Comment: a fine expression of Chenin Blanc and Savennières combining great freshness, acidity, flesh and saline mineral presence. A wine which will develop and gain complexity over the next 10-15 years.
