In 2022, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest partnered with Emmanuel Teillet to continue the quality-driven work carried out at Château La Fleur de Boüard for the past 20 years. This collaboration gave rise to a desire to modernize the facilities and create a true wine tourism destination where wine is elevated, always with respect for living things.
First, the tours, which for several months now have offered an immersive experience through the gravity-flow vat room and the cellars, enhanced by a sound and light show that transports visitors into the world of the vine. The sensory journey continues in the tasting room and wine bar, where, in a spirit of sharing, guests can enjoy a selection of wines and a menu of local products such as oysters from the Arcachon Bay, seasonal shellfish, terrines, and cheeses.
Beyond the traditional tastings, workshops are also available—for example, grape blending and the creation of a half-bottle of wine, or the discovery of so-called “offbeat” vintages.
The hospitality offering and accommodation capacity have both been doubled. Two houses, each with lounges suited to meetings, are now available to rent for hosting professional groups, with, of course, views over the vineyards. The first house, officially rated as a 4-star furnished tourist residence, opens onto an intimate garden and a secure swimming pool. With 3 bedrooms, 2 lounges, 2 dining rooms, a large kitchen and a full-size billiards table, the space is ideal for relaxed, convivial moments. The second house, renovated at the end of 2023, features 4 double bedrooms, a spa, a cozy fireplace for winter, and—thanks to its vegetable garden and hens—all the benefits of a countryside retreat. And not to forget the Cube de la Fleur de Boüard, which offers a suite and two bedrooms decorated in a bright, modern style.
