Color: ruby hue, limpid, fine tears. Nose: warm, beautiful intensity, light woody and toasted notes, spicy, delectable. Ripe fruits (plum, strawberry, cherry), leather. Palate: frank attack, delicious, liquorice, cinnamon, cardamom, leather. The structure is fluid, with strawberry and juicy black cherry. A good length and tannins still being polished. Pairing: pork chop; cheese. Comment: age 2-3 years. A cuvée more specialized than the classic Fleurie.
