Palate: fresh attack (peppermint, liquorice), fruity, spicy, ethereal and subtle. Ample mid-palate. Final with subtle notes of chocolate. Melted tannins. Nice length. Pairing: beef tenderloin in a crust. Comment: very rich wine, good ageing potential.
