Color: deep garnet, bright. Fine lightly coloured tears. Nose: fresh, tangy red fruit (redcurrant, raspberry), black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry). Palate: fruity (strawberry, raspberry), peppery and spicy (Petit Verdot). Fresh and balanced. Lovely acidity. Pairing: beef cheek braised in red wine; Saint-Nectaire cheese. Comment: very interesting, with fine structure. Can wait a little longer before drinking. Cellaring 5 years.
