Color: clear, ruby hue with a slightly orange rim. Nose: smoky, with leather, dried herbs, dried red berries and smoked paprika. Palate: refined, with silky tannins and very fresh acidity. Delicate flavours of red cherry, plum and dried aromatic herbs, complemented by notes of evolution, forest floor and tobacco. Long, persistent finish. Pairing: steak with a red wine jus. Comment: an elegant, evolved and complex Cabernet Franc with excellent persistence.
