Color: deep garnet with brilliant clarity. Nose: very intense, with candied fruit and slightly smoky notes. A touch of fine leather, coffee, chocolate, black pepper and cherry. Palate: mellow attack, silky texture, jammy and oaky. Fairly pronounced empyreumatic notes with hints of black fruit. Good length. Pairing: veal chop cooked over vine cuttings with grilled vegetables. Comment: wait another few years (4 years) for the wine to settle down.
