Color: very dark garnet with a brilliant rim and purple reflections. Nose: subtle and deep. Black fruit, Burlat cherry, a spicy and smoky touch, pencil lead and black olive. Palate: smooth, full attack, with good acidity. Beautiful aromatic balance and lovely generosity. Spicy finish. Pairing: ham hock cooked on the bone, lentils and braised rosemary. Comment: wait for it to fully open up. A beautiful promise for the future. Cellaring 10 years.
