Palate: concentrated from the attack, with fresh acidity and dense, chalky-grained tannins. Full-bodied, revealing juicy flavours of black cherry, plum, cinnamon, clove and toasted oak. The finish is marked by earthy and smoky notes. Comment: spicy and earthy, offering excellent concentration of dark fruit and a well-defined toasted oak character.
