Visual aspect: translucent with a lovely gleam, it has a ruby-red hue and orangey tints. Nose: tertiary aromas with fruity, spicy scents. Pleasant on hints of leather. Palate: a wine with body, marvellous balance between tannins and freshness. It opens up on a touch of leather, the tannins are supple and still very perceptible. Good length of flavours and sensations. Match with food: fillet of partridge. Comments: a very pleasant wine, strong character. With this wine, we stay with the characteristic qualities of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
