Visual aspect: translucent and radiant, a vivid garnet-red hue and purplish tinges.
Nose: pleasant, powerful aromas: cherry in Kirsch, gamey hints (musk and leather), spices, clove and vanilla. Marvellous complexity.
Palate: supple and lively on the first taste, tightly-knit tannin on the second taste with a flavour of cherry. Fresh and long finish.
Match with food: rack of lamb in a crust of spices with small stuffed Niçois vegetables.
Comments: magnificent balance, splendid full-body, it should be decanted.
