Visual aspect: crystal-clear and luminous, with a golden yellow colour. It has rich, slow tears.
Nose: powerful, rich, with aromas of preserved fruit (apricot, lemon) and yellow peach jam, enhanced by hints of mint, spices (star aniseed, liquorice), acacia honey, milk flavoured caramel, and floral woody touches.
Palate : pure and round on the first taste, devoid of heaviness. Full, rich texture and freshness provided by acidity. It gives a long delicate finish.
Match with food: pan-fried foie gras.
