Visual aspect: a deep crimson colour. Nose: scents of jam and truffle, evoking a hint of mushrooms it could be more elegant. Palate: a full-bodied wine with lovely substance and melted tannins a marvellous characteristic quality. Match with food: meat carpaccio of raw boletus mushroom with truffle. Comment: a good, traditional wine.
