Visual aspect: a light garnet-red colour with delicately orangey tinges.
Nose: very expressive and charming, it exudes aromas of small black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) and hints of garrigue (scrubland).
Palate: superbly well balanced, sustained by excellent structure and flavours of small black fruit and spices. Marvellous on the finish.
Match with food: rack of lamb with herbs.
Comment: one of the finest Cairanne wines. Extraordinary!
