Visual aspect: clear garnet red colour, quite elegant. Nose: quite powerful. First nose with roasting aromas (coffee) then vegetables (green pepper bell) which evolves rapidly to spices. Palate: pure and fresh first taste. Tangy red fruits and very present tannins. Match with food: pork products (andouille of Viré); Nice-style small stuffed vegetables. Comments: a difficult vintage to master to get the Bellet typicity.
