Visual aspect: garnet-red colour, red tinges. Brilliant. Nose: animal, developing spicy and liquorice notes with swirling. Pepper, blackberry, black olive. Palate: round first taste, crisp juice. Voluptuous, warm, pure. Very present tannins that have to get rounder, a note of almond. Match with food: oven-baked wild board; beef stroganoff. Comments: pure and solid expression of the grape variety.
