Visual aspect: beautiful gold yellow colour, very brilliant. Nose: discreet, buttery, brioche, hawthorn. Hint of vanilla after swirling. Palate: very beautiful roundness with a mastered and melted woodiness. Very supple finish with honey sweet. Quite persistent. Match with food: pan-fried scallops with vanilla and a light emulsion of cream. Comments: a well-mastered white wine and slightly barrelled.
