Visual aspect: crystalline and shining, with a superb golden-yellow hue and amber-coloured tints. Nose: very fruity, delicate and expressive on lovely buttery, brioche aromas and slightly smoky hints. Palate: pure on the first taste, well-balanced, with a flavour of vanilla which opens out marvellously. The finish reveals some development. Match with food: pan-fried scallops. Comments: a champagne just like its excellent vintage.
