Visual aspect: beautiful straw-yellow hue with golden tinges, nice brilliance, nice limpidity with thick and slow tears. Nose: first notes of dried apricot, light accent of raisining; after swirling, angelica, a hint of peat. Palate: round and soft at first taste, smooth, with a beautiful material and a complex finish. Quenched aftertaste reminding the origin of its terroir (schist, slightly volcanic), beautiful candied aromas (apricot), spices, white pepper. Aftertaste with flavours of caramel. Match with food: pan-fried foie gras with apricots. Comments: a rich and very elegant wine, very promising for the years to come.
