AMBLE WINE

learn about the world of wine in a fun and practical way

Over the past decade, the number of French people interested in learning about the world of wine has grown from 35% to 51%. After studying at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne and working in marketing, Léa Gatinois, the founder, developed a passion for wine and decided to specialize in 2018. Like 80% of enthusiasts, she faced challenges when it came to training and felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information available. This inspired her to simplify wine education and condense it to make it more accessible and engaging. Thus, the Bordeaux-based startup Amble Wine was born in 2020, specializing in the development of educational materials for students, professionals, and passionate amateurs of the wine world. Their first educational tool was “Practice Wine Maps” France.

For the first three years, she collaborated with Bernard Magrez and gradually developed a range of colorful tools covering major themes of the wine world with a straightforward approach: condense theory visually and provide practical applications of knowledge to ensure long-term retention.

To promote active learning through printed materials, all products are printed on 100% recycled paper with a French printer to reduce environmental impact, which is one of the startup's core values. Also available is a box of three half-bottles for blind tasting.

All tools are available in French, English, and soon in Spanish, on the website www.amblewine.com with prices ranging from €19 to €59 including VAT.
