Marie-Christine and Jacques Tissier have crafted an authentic and refined range of champagnes and spirits, sharing their hedonistic vision of life ... and Champagne.
Highly attuned to nature, Jacques is a winemaker who listens to his land and vines. At J.M. Tissier, champagne is made with passion, in deep respect for the soil and firm convictions: always striving to understand the vineyard environment better, creating Terroir champagnes and vintages, using organic fertilizers to restore balance and erase excesses, thus obtaining healthy and high-quality grapes. This commitment is evidenced by the attainment of the Haute Valeur Environnementale and Viticulture Durable en Champagne certification. These convictions are perpetuated by the 4th generation, with Gaëtan working in the cellars of renowned Champagne houses and Anthony, who joined the estate in 2021.
The Reflet de Terre Brut cuvée is composed of 40% Chardonnay from the southern slopes of Epernay and the Sezannais, 50% Pinot Meunier from the southern slopes of Epernay, and 10% from the Sezannais. The harvest is manual, with partial malolactic fermentation. 20% of the Chardonnays are aged for 6 months in oak barrels. Ageing takes place between 24 and 36 months in cellars. Dosage is at 6g/liter, and the cuvée is also available in demi-sec (32g/liter).
