Color: very deep gold. Nose: citrus, with lovely minerality, complemented by notes of candied fruit and a light honeyed touch. Palate: rich and balanced, true to the Barsac style, with lovely substance, elegant freshness and remarkable length on the palate. Persistent, harmonious finish. Pairing: foie gras from south-west France; blue cheese. Comment: a great tasting pleasure, can be kept for another 10 years.
